I also have the sports package but it is also restricted to 130mph due to the 17s that cam from the factory

As most of you have said, you rarely go faster than that BUT it annoys the hell out of me to have the damn limiter set so low!!!

To make things worse, I'm on the waiting list for the JB3 which will make the limiter even more frustrating since I will probably hit it before I even notice, so I found a solution

Active Autowerke is selling a Speed Limiter Delete (SLD) for $265 and according to them, it doesn't leave any codes in the ECU.

Needless to say I'm going to buy it ASAP!!!

Mkae sure you get those stock tired RFT's changed sincce they are only rated at 130

I did at the dealer when I got my car. I have 18s with W rated tires (168mph)

it's 130. could be a speedo error. the speedometer is not that accurate at those speeds.

luckily, i got the sport package with the 18"s. Been to 150 mph stock. Stayed there for a bit, would'nt go any faster, got bored, and took it back down to 75. eh. whatevers.

The vehicle knows only one speed, and this is what it reports at the speedometer. The ECU will limit based on this speed, whether it's correct or not.

bahahaha well your boredom is something a lot of us would love to be "bored" with.... just wondering how 75 is a more fun speed???
