Well to be honest, I was a little bored in season 1 and 2, but my wife liked it so I would watch it. I seem to recall thinking season 2 was a little better than 1 though, but still, season 3 was better than the first 2. But you do need the backstory of season 1 and 2 to appreciate season 3.

I binge watched all three seasons during the beginning of this covid crap.
It's a really good show. Reminds me of a mix between Sopranos, Narcos, and Lilyhammer.

Yeah the last 15 minutes of that episode was nuts. Just when you get your mind comfy with what just happened, they didn't even give you a chance to catch your breathe before......
Darlene has a set of nuts on her!!! They other guys kid....not so much now. Very much looking forward to season 4.....as I'm sure you are as well now. |

Yeah, I'm afraid there is going to be a war between the Byrds with the cartel and Darlene and Ruth's newly formed crew/alliance. Recipe for disaster all the way around. Season 4 is going to be intense. |

I googled this morning and saw no release dates as yet but I assumed that season 4 would be sometime in March being 3 was released March. It's going to be a long wait.

A couple of small things to consider in the meantime: Everyone who has died on the show, their death was visible for the exception of one.....Wendy's brother. I have a good feeling (or a bad feeling in this case) that he isn't dead. Also, I have a gut feeling that the FBI ladies baby is going to end up with someone other than the momma. |

I suspect that there will be just one more season, it’s so intense and Jason has commented on how challenging it is to produce and act.

I gotta be honest... I saw season 1 and am in the middle of 2...
Frankly, I think this show (like all others like it) are very very overhyped. This show got incredibly played out by season 2... its effectively more and more improbable scenarios and loose plots. The premise of the entire show is almost as realistic as fast and the furious... I think either the genre has now been whored out way too many times (drugs / launderings blah blah) or this show is just so improbable that I can't watch it anymore. |

There is a stress that is consistent throughout. I think that Marty and Wendy are fluid, always trying to stay one step in front of the grim reaper. Ruth and her family are wildcards but Ben turns into the match dancing around dynamite shed. The last scene of Season3 is pure gold and quite satisfying.
