You can enable AssistiveTouch which will put a virtual Touch ID on your screen that you can use to unlock and perform other features. Try it out.
Settings - Accessibility - Touch - AssistiveTouch You can also move the icon around the screen for a preferred location.

Punching in a passcode is such a pain. Not sure how I could ever deal with that.

Indeed.
Dinan Stage 3 suspension and I was a little soft on turn in then it caught. Michelin Pilot Sports with about 6K miles. It was about 70 degrees outside and I had traveled about a mile and a half so they weren't that warm but I was still shocked at the lack of grip. Some suspension tuning is warranted but the bushings need changing...

Wouldn’t that be in the patient’s room rather than an operating room?

Yes but the family can't be there either way. I think they die while they are trying to save their life in some circumstances.

Haha ok so to clear up all this confusion- I work in anesthesia so I am not one of the people wearing sterile gloves and gowns. Those people are 'scrubbed in' i.e. the Surgeon, surgical tech, first assist or physician assistant. I'm behind the patient next to the anesthesia machine and the great majority of what I touch is 'clean' not sterile. Yes cell phones are allowed in operating rooms. I am not touching anything 'inside' the patient, and if I am then I am wearing sterile gloves and using aseptic technique. Phones don't need to be sanitized. If I am using my phone my gloves are off and I have sanitized my hands. If I am touching the patient or touching anything that touches the patient I am wearing clean gloves. No, no patients in an operating room are using phones, they are asleep or sedated. The nurse, me (the anesthetist), the anesthesiologist, the surgeon, and anyone else in the room needs a cell phone to be able to communicate with colleagues/coworkers. I only complained because I have to use my phone frequently as part of patient care and it has to have security features like FaceID.

And this first world problem is why I never setup FaceID to begin with.

Boring Real Estate agent here. I enter combos into worthless boxes daily to access keys to houses so I let the phone be no different.
I do miss TouchID though lol

Touch ID on my iPad is more convenient. Works at any angle only issue is damp fingers.

Changing every day!
2-3 weeks ago in Dallas, TX we weren't allowed to even show houses for sale at all unless virtually... Last week it got opened up that we could as long as we wear masks and take our temperatures before going out so it has picked back up! I have actually been operating *mostly* business-as-usual again now. People still need to move, so doing a lot of stuff remotely and only showing homes to people that Have to buy. Sellers with vacant homes seem to have advantages as well, I thankfully represent mostly sellers so it has been a bit easier on my end and the price point I work in (200k or less) tends sell quickly anyway since it's so affordable. Are things down, absolutely, I had 3 contracts fall-out due to COVID-19 job loss etc but overall I can't complain since things are still moving along.

As a skier, I’m somewhat used to it. FaceID doesn’t do well with the helmet, goggles and face covering - not enough data points to authenticate. Even if you could record an alternate appearance, don’t think it would be a good idea since anyone in goggle and face covering could unlock your phone too. That said, finger print ID as a fall back would be nice.
