I bought new 2006 2.0t VW had it for 12 years. Wasn’t consuming any oil at all when I sold it with 130k. Wasn’t leaking either. Dry as a bone. I wish I can say the same about the BMWs I own lol

I too had a 06 2.0T vw and it consumed oil at a good rate. Never out of spec which VW says is 1quart per 1000miles. Sold mine at 150k. It was more reliable than my bmw (engine accessories wise) but drank alot more oil. The only time my bmw drinks oil is when a gasket is leaking somewhere. Replace the gasket and it stays steady till the next leak arises 😂🙁

I'm at 110k miles and burn about 1/2-3/4 of a quart every 3000 miles
