On the E85 and timing corrections, United use different base fuel for the 15% , they state its 'premium 98 or regular petrol' with the rip off approach at the moment I am very sure its regular petrol now. Plus E85 and other E level mixes require you to run an anti gum additive now and then too. I use fuel doctor. Over time you can wind up with black goo in injectors and things.
Nulon pro strength is a good booster NF is even better if you wanted to add to E85 (very low amounts needed 1ml per litre ) https://nitrous.com.au/ |

Makes a good argument for meth too. My Aquamist is getting reconnected. Ive got some NF to put in the E85 to see if it corrects the timing pulls. On 20% E its solid.
There is a knock engine based review from 1999 that has a bunch of octane boosters (inc toluene) and base fuels like VP103 and nulon and the NF race both up the RON by 2.8 on reccomended doses. NF is harder to find but, its better for dosage cost. |

What have your intake temps been?
98 fuel and drag racing is a recipe for high temps. Anything over 120f will be pulling timing. And them logs from July are running minus degrees adv in some points of the run. I have just opened up datazap on the computer to have a look. No iats in logs. |

I wonder if thats the timing issue? Do you put aftermarket pistons in? Anything under 25c is only for a few days a year. |
