Yeah it does look overdone, it would look better toned down.

I dont like chrome much at all tbh, esp the mirrors and A-pillar thing...

On weight, yeah it'll be heavy but on the + side:

- V6 is shorter than V8 and I *think* lighter which should make it less nose heavy.
- new V6 is more economical.
- 20bhp less but power and tq is availible at a bigger range.

Good news to hear. I'm just trying to get over my disliking of cabrios. Don't think that'll happen anytime soon.
