I'm running an out of the box MHD E40 tune in my 07' 335i....and sticky 265 rear tires, and my traction control light won't stop flashing unless I'm in 3rd gear. In second, it will light up the tires pretty easy.....and I'm probably only making 425-450whp.....with 200hp more, how is that car not just blazing the tires off every time he gets on the throttle?? Maybe it's just the way the video is made.....but it just sounds crazy loud, but doesn't really seems like it's putting down crazy hp.

Just wondering.....

I am just stage 2+ MHD, but I don't know how ppl makes their car spinning so much, with some good tires (like Michelin) and a dry road, you have to do it to make them spin when rolling from 2nd or 3rd, with shitty tires it's another story.....

Edit: also if i desactivate fully the DTC (long press), it will probably spin a bit, but it will not as efficient as without, spinning is not being faster

MHD stage 2+ and a "true" 650hp 335i are two different worlds.....you are probably making 400hp.....add 250hp to that (and a ton more torque) and it should be a wild ride.

All I'm saying is that didn't act, sound, or drive like it had 650hp....just my observation.

But hey....it's the internet. Every car has 600+ hp now days.....even if it doesn't. 😆

yep only a true dyno will speak !

when i was chosing my tires, i read a ton of review, including high powered N54 with not stock turbos, and the consensus was that tires are a really important factor anyway and the road condition too.

You know the funny thing is, most people can't even drive a 400whp car properly or exploit anywhere near its potential, but hey they like to brag about big power cars as though it makes them a superior driver, lol.

I started watching this video last week. I didn’t finish watching it. Maybe I was how the car was driven? Maybe how the video was recorded? Anyhow, I was left with an impression that the 335i makes probably half of what the title said. So I stop watching. I have FBO 335i and also ST 335i and the difference is very significant. 650hp makes for a wild 335i ride.

I'm with feuer on this. I have about 540 at the wheels on my N55, and it can be squirrely. Another 100 whp and it would just burn the tires off sooner.

It's obviously your choice if you want to believe it or not but feel free to contact Pure Evil Tuning, if you require validation. There's a dyno sheet displayed on the video. If I wanted to spin the tires I could have easily, but I was easing into the accelerator before I went WOT.

I also ran the MHD Stage 2 E50 tune when I had my 135i and I understand what you mean about traction. It all comes down to tuning. I suspect that load was reduced in the lower RPM range to reduce the stress on the rods.

I totally agree. It's making 350 whp on full E85, with Port Injection, Pure Stage 2 High Flows @ 26 PSI ... Does that really make sense??

Please, everyone knows the accelerator pedal provides binary input: ON and OFF are your only options.

Man thank you for the review. I really enjoyed my day in the sun. People are going to be people. I built my car first and foremost for my enjoyment. The car is fun to me and I think I’ve done some things right in building it. All don’t have to agree. Keep up the hard work on the videos

So basically your going to tell me what gear I’m in LOL. Plus my car is a manual. It’s also called driving. I know how not to light the tires up. What’s the point of that?

Regardless of what you feel the car makes on power the dyno was posted. If your in Socal we can always line the cars up. Win or lose it will be fun.

You've built a great car. Do you ever drag race it? If so, what's your best time?
