Good to know, thanks for keeping the post updated it will give others with similar symptoms something to work with.

Fingers crossed in a week or two you will be able to confirm no more smoke

Well.....bad news. She's still smoking after the new valve cover.

Only thing it could be at this point is the worm out, 100k mike, oem turbos.

Hello RB Turbos 😁

Wanting new turbo? Yes, 500hp sounds like a blast......

But I would have gladly waited a while if the new valve cover fixed the smoking issue.
I'm just tired of always wrenching on this car...I just want to enjoy driving it for a while.

But with it smoking now, I will do turbos sooner than later. It's embarrassing rolling up to a stop light only to have a big cloud of white smoke roll over your car....even if it doesn't do it all the time.

Was the low side catch can installed yet or no?

Also, did you end up plugging the ports while the VC was off?

Yes...low side CC installed. No, didn't plug the holes in the head when the VC was off.

I've pretty much concluded that it's not unreasonable to assume that the smoking is coming from the original 100k mile turbos....
