OP. I have the same exact car that you are selling (with same options and mods plus couple more). I feel bad for your situation and I don't want to make you feel any worse. But if your dealer offered you 51K, you should not waste a second to take the deal before he changes his mind. I would go for it without any hesitation and buy 2008 M3 convertible on ebay with less mileage and for lower price. Here is one:

His trade offer was back in Oct..........now it's in low to mid $40's. I hope he took it.........otherwise he's "firmly" screwed.
