he talks about no down but taking over a loan - i guess for the 7k, he took out a loan, that comes on top of the 390 lease

SCAM!!!

Just remember, if it's too good to be true, then most likely it's a SCAM. I was searching for a DD car on Craiglist and came across a lot of scammers. They are really easy to spot. They don't leave no contact phone # for you to call them. It's usually reply to the listing or some e-mail address.

My friend got his car through a lease site worked out ok. I checked out leasetrader and swapalease they both show you the listing but make you PAY to contact the owner same deal.
