This looks like a great drop in solution to getting slightly lower oil temps. I might try this. Super easy to remove and install the thermostat.

I had stock, BMS bypass and now the FTP one. They all acted differently. Not sure how (since its solid metal and not wax filled like oem) but the FTP does take bit shorter to get to operating temp than the BMW bypass.

I do the same drive, drive the car the same way so its pretty easy to compare both and it was something I was able to easily point out; that being said it may not be a huge deal to most and its no where near stock was

its a LITTLE bigger but a direct bolt on. I believe it has 1 more row and the fins are a bit more dense
