just yesterday i went to the local dealer and got a shiney new performance brochure ( i didnt actually expect them to have any lol ) had a flick through and there are some impressive stuff in there. I enquired about a few bits and peices, prices and availability. The two pieces i was interested in were:

carbon strut brace: ... available for most 3 and 1s - BUT NOT 335D

performance seats: NOT AVAILABLE > ON HOLD - PRODUCTION DELAYED BECASUE OF ECONOMIC CLIMATE

another thing which i notioced, most parts wont (or they dont list/advise) fitment for the 335D, as i imagine its not a 'performance model'

so far not impressed !!

Its not that mate, the underbonnet of a 335d is quite complex and has a ''busier'' bonnet than other models including the 335i.

It will fit but bmw dont want to tackle the job. If you dont mind chopping and changing shite under your bonnet it will go on.


Bit like the Perf Brakes which dont fit 335i or 335d. (Which we know they do)

only strut brace which fits perfectly is the schnitzer at £400 same for the rear . the performance parts for the 3 series look good but when will they be available i want the rear bumper! a 335d not a performance model er! read the report ion this months bmw car mag

wish they didn't change the Trunk/boot lid, otherwise they would have been interchangeable, I think they did that on purpose so we with the older style won't be putting the new lights on them. But I still like my blacklines

well you tell BMW they need to promote them for performance as much as the petrol equivelant.

i really want those perfomance seats why put them in the new brochure and promote them if theyre not gonna realse them

You can also fit the OEM strut brace from the M3 - it's only about £150 in parts costs. And it is very good, much more substantial than the standard brace on the 335

is the new brochure new new or the one with mainly 1 series bits as my dealer knew NOTHING about a brochure or bits for the 3's before you buy any strut brace make sure it will fit a 335d as the engine sits much higher than other engines

it looked brand new to me ! and had showed pictures and parts for the 3 series and 1 series

this E92 has some Performance parts on it, gearbox and steering wheel, and the grey strips, also in white, but the price seems high anyway

got the brochure but it is the original that came out earlier this year it does not show all the tasty bits that are in the new video. these are apparently due for release next march bought the stripes but not sure wether to fit or not any views on a silver car? got the wheels which are fantastic and the steering wheel very expensive and not sure its worth it
