Thanks for the invite, but heading straight over the howard franklin is pretty quick and convenient for me. If this wasn't a 7 a.m. event I'd definitely be down for 60, but I'm already too tired in the morning.

Ian, this goes on every month bro. No worries. The turnouts are usually a little bigger than the Orlando Cars n Coffee also. I think it'll be worth the drive

I'll be there (135i) with the normal gang of cars (porsche boxster, bmw 330i, merc s55 amg) plus a newcomer (e60 m5 w. software, exhaust, coilovers, wheels, and this strange brightly-colored bottle in the trunk that the owner refers to as a "200 shot" )

I used to show my 2005 widebody corvette there. Now driving a 2008 335I sport.

Charlie, why in the world did you give up the z06 for a 335?

Gave up the vette as follows;
It was a 2005 (I bought new). Standard vette (magnetic red) 6 speed. I changed out the body panels and brakes, wheels, suspension and tires and exhaust over the years that I had it. It was pumping 450 HP with mods.
Wife didn't drive 6 speed and hated the car. She wouldn't ride in it. Also, I have a 350E mercedes as well as a recently purchased 2008 335I sport loaded. So, I got a real good price $40K for it from a guy in NJ. Now back to 2 cars and none stored. Basically, was tired of storing the vette and only using it to show. Now I drive the 335I and it is alot of fun. Plus she is a lot happier now.

so did anyone go? i got back to tampa at 4:30am and woke up at 7:30. figured by the time i got there i'd be after 8 and too close to the end of the meet so i went back to sleep.

I got out there with a about five friends. Best burnout session yet! The only sad part was the first couple burnouts pelted a e90 m3 and 997 911 turbo with gravel.
