just like how you would remove the shiftboot. slowly work your way around the edges. it's held down by tabs/clips. but be aware that if you want to use M/S it will just be D until you shift it up or down and it's just like using the paddles while in D... it doesn't "hold" that gear. I'm finalizing something with my DCT shiftknob mod soon so hang tight.

OEM BMW manual shiftboot. As someone posted, you just need to remove the circuit board underneath. Which I honestly just saw that post for the first time today. I'm gonna do a lil of that with my mod.

Now to change it even more and to pull it together, throw in a new set of black carpet mats (trust me, there's enough black in CB interiors that it looks great together)
