What model year is your vehicle ?

That could determine possible what others are seeing .

I have a 18 and I do not have tire pressure however my app changed slightly

Enjoy it while it lasts. BMW is quickly sunsetting connectivity features in their cars. With the F10 5 series you loose connected features in cars as recent as 2016. So don't be surprised if your warranty expires and the car is "no longer compatible" with no option to upgrade the combox.

It's only cars with 3G telematics boxes that are getting shut down, because the cell carriers are all shutting down their 3G networks. Everything for the last 4 years or so has LTE connectivity and the services for those cars isn't going anywhere. Some with an older 3G box can get a replacement from BMW (some owners were offered replacements at no charge).

The Tire Pressure display in the MyBMW app is only supported for vehicles with iDrive 7 or newer and SP18 hardware from what I understand.

For example, if it was a 2020 or 2021 BMW G01 X3, while it has iDrive 7, it does not meet the requirements since it has SP15 hardware. Alternatively, if its a 2022 G01 X3, then it supports it since it has SP18 hardware in it now much like Remote Software Update support.

Correction - as long as it's equipped with ID7 regardless of SP15 or SP18, TPMS will show up in the MyBMW app.

The app worked on my Samsung phone, until it didn't. I couldn't sign on. A genius told me to go to settings, apps, Samsung internet. Select it as default. Then open MyBMW and sign on. It worked. Then go back and reset to whatever browser you want as default.

Worked on my Galaxy S10 phone - might work on your Note.

IPad magically updated to version of new format overnight. I'll check air pressure, adjust with hand pump and do a TPMS reset this morning

Thanks. The 2019 x3 has idrive 6 so that makes sense.

Hi,

I have a 2020 M340 and a Samsung S21+. Received My BMW App update a few days ago to version 1.7.0 (11152).

Tire pressure & status are now on app, as well as locations directly from phone's calendar (like old ConnectedDrive app). App is working quite well

Haven't seen any of the other functions, but that's probably because BMW tends to pay short shrift to Android phones

As far as North America is concerned, I believe this only applies to cars in the US. Canadian vehicles use Rogers for connectivity and the scheduled sunset for their 3G network is 2025.

Thank you! I didn't know about syncing with the calendar phone.

For people using an iPhone make sure to go into your settings and then to the My BMW app and enable the app to access your calendar.

In Canada the 3G was discontinued since January 2021. I received an email from BMW in july 2020 asking me to choose between 3 options:
1 - Get à 200$ gift car and loose the connectivity
2 - 1 year of road assistance for free and loose the connectivity
3 - Update my combox with a new one with 4G

I took the option 3 and I get the 4G communication.

what is this interior camera? I have 2019 G05 X5 and it is only missing this -- does this mean this function won't be available for me?
Same question…interior camera? Is this a typo?

It may be limited to iDrive 7, but it isn't limited to SP18 hardware. My MY2020 530e has it with SP15 hardware.

The iX (SP21) is the only BMW with an Interior Camera currently. I believe its mounted overhead somewhere in the front by the FZD roof module.

I can see everything except for the TPMS.

I have a 2017 M2 and using an iPhone with iOS 15.1.

This is with the car not running. I did drive it on the 16th though.

Of course it is. Lol why would BMW implement something that other models could totally use.

This is something that could easily be implemented in current models that have camera capabilities with alarm equipment and parking assistant plus minus the interior cam.

Let's be honest, the current BMW Drive recorder utilization of the car cameras as it stands now is a joke.

This is all mine shows. It's an 09/2019 G05 M50d and has iDrive 7. Refreshed for a few days now and it won't show me any tyre pressures or even to say if they are ok. The previous version did tell me the pressures were ok so not only have I not had the update, it's actually a regression in functionality? Can't be right.

Can't quite figure out how the new calendar integration feature should work. Is there any new UI for it? I have all permissions set yet nothing in the app even hinting at it seeing my iPhone calendar.
