Best way to get rid of this problem is having control. If you ABSOLUTELY MUST gamble...then set a limit. Say $100/week
Spend 100 every week and keep it at that, win or lose. So if you spend 100, and win say 1000, just cash out then. The 100 should be in your spending pot. whatever you make should be in another. So if you lose 100, so be it, your loss for that week, but don't try to recover by saying, oh it's only another hundred.... Controlled gambling ftw. I don't gamble, atleast not in casinos - the stock market can be seen as a gambling ring, but anyhow, that is the best way (suggested above) to keep your problem at a minimum or learn to control it. |

In regards to Chinese and their gambling problem, I concur. It must be in their DNA. It's amazing how much of gambling tables in Las Vegas are dedicated to meet their needs. There must be a reason. |

Usually rich chinese have nothing better to do, so they want that rush from the casino : winning big and losing big. Even if they lose big, it's not a big deal to them. But if they win it big, they'll have an excuse to treat their friends for dinner, party, and such... |

The 100 per week was an example, just have a small feasible set amount, and use that to play for future gambling. Don't change it and don't set it to like $10000 a week or something....something feasible, maybe even $500 a week. Why not try it out? |

Take it from someone who has gambled, and also worked for years in the casino industry.
Gamblers never win. If they did there wouldn't be multi-billion dollar casino projects being built in Vegas & Macau right now. |
