The graphs pretty much demonstrate exactly what is felt before/after using the new map! Everyone who has been patiently waiting will definitely not be disappointed

the original v3 is rev I, rev II is starting to ship now (it is a smaller unit and has more room for expansion among other things... for now the maps are going to basically be the same for both).

Yes, the new family of maps (which only a dozen or so people have right now) address the issue of excessive throttle closure. These "pre-beta" maps have been floating around in several cars for the last month or so. They are also the maps we demoed at the Taste Test day this past weekend in LA. I'll post up these new maps and required firmware with Part II so those who who have PROcedes (either rev.1 or rev.2) can see the effects this new approach has on power delivery, consistency and overall driving enjoyment. It really is an eye opening experience.

They aren't max power maps by any means (they will come soon). But I think they illustrate where we are going and why the PROcede offers performance that is quite different from any other option currently available. Our "overly complicated" hardware is the way it is for a reason. And now that reason is being brought to light

Allergies are killing me. Just popped two Benadryls and i'm on the verge of passing out. Have a good night guys.

Cheers,
Shiv

Does this throttle closure activity happen on pre-29.2 cars?

Yes. It happens to all ECU versions. With every kind of tune, to a greater to a lesser extent. It's only now that we've been able to address it properly. Which is why we are exciting about it. Because, quite literally, it's like tuning the car from scratch all over again. Very cool from our perspective as tuners. And very cool from behind the wheel as well.

There will be attempts by others to misinform others about the reality of this situation. They will say things like "throttle closure is an integrate part of boost control" or "getting rid of it will adversely impact diagnostic invisibility." Rubbish. The writing is on the wall and they will suggest otherwise because their hardware doesn't allow them to do it. Simple as that.

And even those who aren't easily convinced only need 2 minutes behind the wheel of a car that doesn't suffer from unintended throttle closure to see the reality of it all. It's that obvious. And it's common sense.

Damn, Shiv. "Tell em why you mad son!"

Take some Benadryl, Zycam, Respa, sleep, and bring on Part 2

With all of that said, I have a feeling this thread is going to be really ugly tomorrow

Innovation? Information? Illustration? Integration? Damn you Four I's

...thanks for the continued development Shiv, I think I can speak on behalf of the N54 community when I say we appreciate your efforts. It seems that even if some people think they're appreciating another tuner's efforts, theey have commonly been appreciating an interpretation of Vishnu's discoveries.
