I remember being overseas and a lot of my colleagues bought Porsches, Mercedes and BMWs when the dollar was worth over 4 DM. I was there when $1=2DM so couldn’t really even afford even a 318i that I really wanted.

This was applied to my butt more than a few times as a kid. The one in question had a V-notch in the end which would provide that extra "pinch" as the skin got into it. We called it the "spoon bite".

The smell of JP4. It reminds me of my dad when he got home from a flying mission.

I had to select my own switch. And if it wasn't appropriate, one would be selected for me. My mom also helped me pack my bags once when I said I wanted to leave. I was five years old lol.

First cable box that sat on top of the TV, and it had a manual slider to select the channels. Anyone else remember that?
How about recording songs off the radio with a stereo/cassette combo deck? #1, no social media and no internet. Take me back, it was all so much better. |

I had the big wheel and the car wash!
P.S. the pics I had to look up had vintage or antique written on them. The 2nd time this week I've felt old. |
