This was applied to my butt more than a few times as a kid. The one in question had a V-notch in the end which would provide that extra "pinch" as the skin got into it. We called it the "spoon bite".

The smell of JP4. It reminds me of my dad when he got home from a flying mission.

I had to select my own switch. And if it wasn't appropriate, one would be selected for me. My mom also helped me pack my bags once when I said I wanted to leave. I was five years old lol.

First cable box that sat on top of the TV, and it had a manual slider to select the channels. Anyone else remember that?

How about recording songs off the radio with a stereo/cassette combo deck?

#1, no social media and no internet. Take me back, it was all so much better.

Saturday morning cartoons was a big one.

The Six Million Dollar man
Stretch Armstrong
Tyco 440 race tracks
8-track stereos
Skating rinks
Bicycles. Bicycles were everything when I was a kid
Jam boxes
The first Sony walkman
Colecovision
Arcades
Sleeping in the back window of cars on long trips
REAL Summers, like where I did whatever I wanted (spent all day at the creek)
Swimming pools, and the girls of Summer

And a lot of bad stuff too.

Man, I could do this forever.
