I popped around to the SWIZÖL factory and picked up a nice tub. Appears that it is named Swissvax in the UK.
Top stuff. Last tub I had lasted 2 Jags that were waxed regularly. So not that pricey really. For the price of a couple of tanks of fuel over 5 years. Don't have a pic of the 335D handy ... D.

Whilst I'd like to get mine shining like those in the pics, always short on time so cant beat the Autoglym Aquawax as an alternative to running a shammy leather over it...

Seeing as everyone else is showing off their cars I though I would post some pics of my Audi that I have before my last couple of cars (well it was almost 2 years ago and I've had a z4 coupe in between this and my e92)
This is my car after I de swirled it and gave it a couple of coats of Zymol's destiny wax The bonnet: A shiny door... |

I am even more confused than before I never knew about sealants be that good, I was always told they was no good ie diamond bright all that type of stuff I thought BMW seal and protect was quite good but not going to pay out £300 +
I dont mind spending the time Zymol in summer and it is ment to be applied in 65f + So no chance of that here now and it just take to long the waxing bit is ok it is the HD Cleanse which takes the time I was tempted with this only £20 |

http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/zaino/.../prod_471.html My detailer recommended it and it is very good leaving a deep shine. Think cleanyourcar are based in Huddersfield. I ordered a load of stuff from them and it arrived quickly and very well packaged. |

I've used both products and find the Zaino stuff gives better results - suppose I haven't got a large area to cover. Yes, for the truly lazy sods, the Autoglym will do lol. |

i'm lookin to wash and wax my car soon...will be buying some cleaning products...need some advice on which wax to buy please... i'm lookin for something very easy to use and apply and that will give a nice shiny look...don't know if I should go for the cheap Meguiars product, or mid price like the Dodo Juice or the expensive one like the Swissvax...
What do you guys reckon? and which one is the easiest and most simple to apply? Only started reading about "detailing"...didn't know that so much stuff existed!!!...claybars, microfibre cloths, polish, clay, wax.....I always though washing a car....well...was just using a bucket of soapy water and a hose....:-) anyway, advice much appreciated! |

I really like Collinite 845 - Insulator Wax on my black car. Easy on and off with no white residue.
In between "proper" waxes i use AG Aqua Wax too as a quick and dirty solution. |

I`m using Zymol Ital and altough expensive I`ve had the tub for 4 yrs and its still got a third left in it. Nothing else I`ve tried lasts anywhere near as long or gives the same Glass like finish.

I use Zymol vintage or atlantique. Got a 4 oz sample kit a few years back, all sold out now sadly as they were excellent value. Have to say zymol is easy and very durable, but bmw orangepeel spoils it and the paint marks so easily. My old audi's had far better quality and far harder paint. That said autoglym super resin for everyday will always do fine and it's fillers do help, but they defects are always just masked. Always keep some in the boot for some reason!!!

The Swissvax Best of Show is a fantastic wax - yes it's expensive, but the durability and finish is pretty amazing. It also smells rather nice, and is supremely easy to use

No I haven't... I've heard good things about it, but spending £330 on a pot of wax when I still have 80% of the Best of Show left is a bit galling!!!! I think I'll wait till I finish this pot (a year or two) before trying something else!

I have zymol concours and pooyboys etc but again certain waxes suit certain colours. I know Werkstat looks fantastic on white.
