Will probably also go for the group buy instead of a BMW USB retro-fit, but need a couple of daft questions asnwering first....

(As I am picking up my new Feb 2008 330d from the dealer this week) All I need to do is ask for the CD Changer to be coded (ie. I say I am going to isntall one myself) and then plug in the Denison instead?

If I do get the CD Changer coded on, and dont install the Denison, what happens in the IDrive?

Stupid question this probably but but can the Dension Gateway 500 be installed in such a way that I can have my ipod / iphone in the armrest as I currently do by connecting via the AUX input. Having it in the glovebox would be a right pain.

I had dension ice link an earlier version of this and it worked well occasionally it would freeze or loose connection but worked well I know have 6FL option and it is slightly neater option but not without problems no freezes but it does not alway start playing where it left off and goes back to the first song starting with A. Also remember if you retro fit 6FL still need to buy the i pod lead at another £50
