Porsche's 919 had a hatrick of Le Mans wins from 2015 to '17 then withdrew it to let Toyota have those too easy 'walk in the park' five wins up to present, so I have got my fingers crossed that this new car can rain on their parade.

Porsche was lucky to win in 2017 as Toyota was on pole and easily the faster of the two. The race was wrapped up for Toyota until technical issues stopped the cars with minutes to go on the penultimate lap.

The Toyota ts050 set the fastest lap in the race as well as pole, and still holds the lap record.

I remember the scenario, Nakajima was gutted.
