Sealants or anything meant for you paint are designed for temperatures in direct sunlight. Even direct sunlight will break down a pure Carnauba . Your exhaust gets hotter then that. If i was going to use something I would make sure it has no Carnauba in it at all. It will be the first product to break down. Polymer based product would protect longer.

If their pealing already and their are no scratches on it. Go to your dealer, i would assume its a material/manufacturing defect.
