Nothing else could piss me off more as if someone hit my 335i. I swear I dont care how it happend but I will .... ... .... ... .. ... ..... ....... You just dont hit cars, you failed to pay attention and that is why my car is now in pieces.

I hope you can get a brand new 09 out of that.

I'm interested in seeing a convertible that has rolled. It's always in the back of my mind at the track...

That almost-impossible-to-see ding on the wheel arch from a shopping cart cost about $850 to repair. At that rate, a dozen door dings and shopping cart hits should total the car.

This was a few years back when I worked a bmw dealership, was riding passenger. Driver and I both walked out with just a little airbag rash.

Driver took the corner way too fast and put us into a spin, then we shot head on into a lightpole at about 100km/h or so. We took the pole and its 1tonne cement block out of the ground. The interior was untouched, it was a dealer car as well.

then in the paper..

You betcha! DentWizard at my BMW dealer. There are two overlapping pieces of sheetmetal welded in that area, and it's on a panel edge. They couldn't do it. The shop that repaired it somehow managed to fix it without pulling the headliner (to access the bolts that attach the roofrack) but it was enough of a nightmare anyway. The size was less than BMW customarily docks you for on a lease but the car isn't leased. I think I may hold the E9x price record for repair of a tiny ding that didn't even mar the paint. I took plenty of pictures because the next owner is going to raise his eyebrows about this story. Makes you wonder about the grade of steel that BMW is butting into the cars, too.

well technically this is a BMW. My friend and i decided to go for a drive up the canyon one night in the mini, long story short my friend was driving like a dumbass, went about 50ish on a super sharp turn with a recomended speed of 35. we slid out of control crashed into the mountain, flipped about 3x and landed maybe like 9 yards away. i escaped with only some minor cuts and bruises. my side airbag didnt go off and i get jaw pain from the side of my head hitting the glass when we flipped. and i got some really bad bruising on my chest from the seatbelt, it was almost maybe to tight, i dont think i even hit the airbag it was so tight. needless to say i still get chest pains to this day, im almost positive its from that.
My friend got a broken wrist, and he had to get like 15 stitches on the top of his head. and his window was down so he got a scratched up and the sunroof shattered bits of glass into his head.
