I think that an LSD would transform a 335i into something pretty special, without one it is just a very quick motorway mile muncher, nothing wrong with that, but a remap and an LSD would turn it into something else.
How`s the new toy compare to that Gizze, you can`t be far away from it in the coupe, lots of mags have managed sub 5s.

Hi ya,

Yes... was a little dissapointed with the dyno run on my car Tuesday as 2 months ago at Evolve is put down 426.1bhp. Still not totally convinced my car was in the right "mode" as the dyno was only recording upto to 7,500rpm... and BMSport recon Evolves dyno dynamics reads very similar to their Sun one.... but a second run with 150Kg load and Nigel & Pierse sitting in the boot did the same... so not sure what was going on then.

Your 335i was very very impressive, I still think the twin-turbo 3.0l BM engine is one of the best performing on the market.

Plans are afoot however with the M3... so watch this space

One thing I did get from the day was a nightclub style ringing in my ears till Friday I guess 5hrs listening to the dyno wasn;t a good move without ear protection!

Great day and great selection of cars.

I don't know, I haven't bothered getting the timing meter out with the M3, just haven't felt the need. I think that says a lot about the old M3 really.

With the 335i I was trying to get more speed out of it, and then got bored, I guess I should have put an LSD on and better suspension, I was going in the wrong direction with it.

We're not exhibiting (no 110v products yet), but taking 35 dealer/installers out there as a reward for achieving their targets. I last went in 2005 and had a good time... it's a crazy place

Rako?!!! Hahaha... I've just been studying your products because I'm trying to figure out how to wire the lights in my apartment... i've always used Lutron before, but because of the ceiling heating and construction of my flat, it's next to impossible to rewire for Lutron. And the Futronix range is really amateurish in comparison...

You, Me, chat when you get back!!!!

hahahaha you know it is!! I've done over 50 Lutron installations in the past, and I've hated every single one of them!! I can't remember your number plate to be honest!!!
