[QUOTE=floridaorange;29875261]Anyone versed in diet and nutrition know if there is any benefit to eating this beef liver/heart?
I've introduced beef liver into my diet, but the heart is still in my fridge Need to soak the liver in lime juice or milk I hear its better that way, haven't tried that yet. Looking for any input on recipes, preparation tips.. When you cook liver on the skillet with salt, pepper, onions, just add a little sour cream when it almost done. It will melt and create a delicious sauce when mixed with juices on the skillet. You can call it "Russian style". The same can be used when cooking beef strips with mushrooms. That's called "Beef Stroganoff" |
