I’ve always been a fan of the Z3 Coupe! I remember the first time seeing one when I was in middle school - it’s was flying down a pothole stricken road in the Bronx, NY. What stood out to me was the way the Z3 was bending around the road undulations - the way it turned looked almost like a shopping cart with how the front end moved. All these years later I still think back on that. The Coupe is definitely a bucket list car for me but the lack of even a small rear seat eliminates it as a possibility until my daughter is an adult (over a decade ha!)

Sadly I missed the boat on these, so wanted an S54 powered one but purchased another E30 M3 that I ended up selling for decent money to put on a second home. That story did not go well Lifetime story about "The !$%@ on the Hill" got that house, sadly.
That being said keep the eye candy coming. |

E36/8 M coupe is a special breed and was very underrated and so overlooked from the car world, truly unique car, the kind of product BMW likely won’t make again.
Mine, MY1999 with S50b32 engine along with the M340i touring (soon to be replaced by G81 M3 touring)

Pics of my Dakar Yellow II M Coupe
Had 3-4 sets of wheels over the past 23 years but ultimately settled on the stock wheels. Went through about 12 sets of tires when I used to autocross on a regular basis and 2 new battery in the same time. Just under 50k miles, not bad for a 00.

I think BMWNA really mistaken not to bring M3 touring over, M3/M4 have grown so big and heavy now in fact I think wagon might be it’s best form.

While I didn't buy the M version not for lack of desire, I did get the Z version back in 2001. Stumbled upon it on a dealer lot. I would have loved the M at the time, there were none to be had. Still have the Z Coupe today.

I go out of my way to enjoy my M Coupe any chance I get. Sort of bought my 2000 Estoril coupe on a whim in 2017 and will be keeping it around for long time.
Funny enough, my dad originally did not care for the car that much, but after some time around mine and driving, he bought his own in 2020: an Alpine S54 M Coupe. It quickly has become one of his favorite cars he’s ever had. |

I ended up going for a Z4M roadster at the end of the day, but I've always had a soft spot for the Z3M's.

Always loved these, but the only styling thing I object to is the lack of a Hofmeister Kink… absolutely no reason it shouldn’t have one!

I’d love to pickup a Z4 M Coupe at some point, would look great parked next to my G81 I test drove an E86 M before I bought my E46 M3 back in 2015, and it was an absolute riot. |
