I tried that, but not sure I am happy with the result. The shortest matching screw was a bit longer (10mm instead of 7?) and when I tightened it down to the seat on the tip, it warped the muffler side of the tip, so that the front doesn't match as close as I would like to the end of the pipe. I MAY get a clamp for the back end. Wife's going to "borrow" some loktite from work too.

Can I check if there's any gap after installing the chrome tips? I had my installed and found a fine gap, roughly about 1mm, in between the exhaust tip and the chrome tip. I remember on my E46 installation, I managed to push the chrome tip all the way in and fit firmly onto the exhaust tip.

So on my 330i I will be able to take the chrome tips off? For some reason I figured the ones on the 330 would be atached differently... Any ways the tips look great guys they really dress up the back of the car!

Do all "stateside" 330's come with chrome tailipies? I can't believe they use different ones from the ones shown in the accessories catalogue!

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=687 Call Pacific BMW or Circle BMW parts, they have the best prices and will be lower than what's listed in the catalog. |

indents on tail pipes
Those pipes look awesome. Do you see the indents of those pipes? I ordered a set but returned them because of the indents. The 330 has chrome pipes that go all the way to the silencer box... i am waiting for those to arrive.
