I always had a twinge of regret that I didn't go for Le Mans Blue. But 'er indoors never liked that colour so..... BUt I am still very keen on the one I have, Sparkling Graphite. If there was some sort of miracle paint that never got dirty I would probably go for black. If I was ordering a new car now I would consider bluewater. Saw a 320d M Sport in bluewater in Sainsburys car park yesterday, first one I've seen for real, certainly looked very nice. But have a feeling that colour's novelty value may wear off quickly. Could be wrong.
Has anyone ever seen a car in that 'moonstone' colour, mentioned above? |

Yep, I nearly bought the moonstone 320d se in the stealers' showroom. Just love the colour but I agree. come to change, the old sob story "not a popular colour sir" will I'm sure be heard. My previous e90 was jet black which looked fantastic for very short periods - then just dirty and showed every tiny mark. My missus said I washed all the paint off as I spent so much time trying to keep it clean. My current 320d M Sport edition is carbon black which I really like but suspect will be as difficult long term to keep in shape. Equipment for the money was just too good to be missed.

There was a brand new bluewater M3 saloon in the dealers when I bought my 335i. It looks the dogs, but sounds too much like a certain aftershave for my liking........may be a bit faddy too.
Almost changed my order to that colour, but stuck with Titanium Silver (current car is SG) My choice of Ti silver is a bit dull, but it contrasts well on the flame surface and with the M sport rear diffuser and blacked out windows, black roof rails etc - more so when dirty / less shiny I think, which is good for me! It's also low maintenance and fits the 'street sleeper' image of the 335i touring IMO. (de-badged & with the baby seat in back of course) Last edited by doughboy; 02-02-2009 at 11:01 AM.. |

Mine is bluewater and I have some pics on another thread. Let me know if you want any other pics of it. I have not taken the car out of the garage since the snow started.
