Maybe that's my aversion to EV, Hot Wheels Sizzlers of the 1970s. They ran out of juice in 5 minutes.

I wouldn’t buy one now, but I appreciate the effort and desire to try to make a boring EV a bit more enjoyable to drive. If I was forced to buy an EV (and for some reason could not buy a used ICE), as an enthusiast it would be at the top of my list.

No amount of fake noise or electric horsepower can interest me in buying another EV. Had a Taycan, was boring as hell. Wife had a Mach E GT performance edition, boring as hell.
Won’t make the mistake again, manual ICE until it’s unavailable. If you have to have one, just wait a year or 2 and get it for 50% off. They are junk, btw. |
