As a follow up went with 2200 option. Car looks good but only time will tell. I’ll comment back here with name of shop once I determine the job was done well.

I've done a DOY coating a couple times now. They're super easy to do and there's tons of great options at $100 or less.
No way would I pay someone to do it on a small vehicle like an X5. Maybe I'd consider paying someone to do it on the expedition since it's huge and takes a lot to polish... Probably not though, because that $2200 job works out to like, $400 an hour and I'd shudder to think about what that would total on the expedition lol. |
