My DH tracked it, tells me it left San Diego yesterday, so it should be in Port Hueneme TODAY!!!

(I think your map is a picture of the coast between San Diego & LA.)

Anybody know anything new regarding the status of the cars on this boat? I'm not sure, but I think this is the one I probably ended up on - my drop off date in Munich was 5/16...

Just heard from my CA tonight that my car has been released to the trucking company to bring it up to San Francisco. That must mean it has completed the VPC. Can't be long now!

Who's your dealer? I've ordered a few things to be added at the dealer; I'm guessing that they'll need a day or so to install them-especially if they get the new iPod interface.

Weatherford is my dealer. My guy there was quick to point out there could be delays but he seemed optimistic it'd be here by early/mid next week. Who's your dealer?

Victor Hung from Peter Pan in San Mateo; a friend introduced us to him a number of years ago. He's one of the top salesmen in the country. This is our 3rd BMW from him-he always takes great care of us, no hassles, no attitude. Totally professional. I think he does so well because he gets so many referrals-another friend bought her car from him, then her son bought one there, etc.

We always use Weatherford for service, though. They do a great job. They also have a great detailer if you are not a DIYer-I'm going to take my car in to get waxed as soon as I get it.

Wheeee... it will be here Monday. I'm picking it up Wednesday morning. I am planning to head right over the hill & drive it down Highway 1.

Just got a call from my dealer - I pick my car up on Monday. Awesome! 7 weeks from the day I ordered - not bad really.

First time I can remember wanting a weekend to hurry up and end.
