INPA > F5 Status refreshes the data at a rate that depends upon the number of parameters displayed. I was incorrectly thinking of that when I suggested using INPA > Functional Jobs > F2 Identification. The ISTA Tree takes quite a while to load, so I would NOT use that. The answer to your question is I don't know about Functional Jobs Screens. I have a vague recollection that pressing either "Enter" or F2 Key will reload/Refresh the data of F2 Identification. Please try either/both of those & let us know what you find. You're our "Beta Tester".

I connected the EKPS module, and spent about 30 minutes disconnecting and reconnecting and moving the wires and the entire connector into many different ways, while pressing F2 (that is what re-reads the modules) and had no luck seeing 17 EKP show up. While I was at it I tried clearing fault memory and again got the same results. I just sprayed each female terminal at the connector down with contact cleaner to see if that makes a difference at all.

Okay I went back through it all again, and wrote down all my tests:

EKP Module Testing Notes 2/19/25

With IGN OFF, Battery CONNECTED, EKP Module disconnected:
X13661/1 (B+) to GND - 12.41V (looks correct)
X13661/1 (B+) to X13661/2 - 12.41V (looks correct)
X13661/13 (WAKEUP WIRE) to GND - 0V (looks correct)
X13661/9 (PT_CAN_H) to GND - 0V (looks correct)
X13661/16 (PT_CAN_L) to GND - 0V (looks correct)

With IGN ON, Battery CONNECTED, EKP Module Connected:
X13661/1 (B+) to GND - 12.41V (looks correct)
X13661/1 (B+) to X13661/2 - 12.41V (looks correct)
X13661/13 (WAKEUP WIRE) to GND - 11.9V (looks correct)
X13661/9 (PT_CAN_H) to GND - 2.6V (looks correct)
X13661/16 (PT_CAN_L) to GND - 2.2V (looks correct)

With IGN OFF, Battery DISCONNECTED, EKP MODULE DISCONNECTED:
X13661/9 to X13661/16 - 112 Ohms (looks wrong)
X13661/9 to GND - Open
X13661/16 to GND - Open

With IGN OFF, Batt DISCONNECTED EKP MODULE CONNECTED:
X13661/9 to X13661/16 - 112 Ohms (looks wrong)

Questions:

Do the above measurements point to a PT CAN H and L resistance issue? I keep reading that I should see 60ohms when measuring between PT CAN H and L and not 120ohms, unless there is a missing terminating resistor.

I did probe the EKP module ASSuming that I would see a resistance here across pins 9 and 16 as it should be from what I read here one of the modules that has a terminating resistor, and I have an OPEN which is making me wonder if I somehow fried the resistor in the EKP... is there a resistor in the EKP? I am grasping at straws at this point...

I have thought about a new EKP, to see if that is in fact the cause, and probing it for resistance before installing...

Any guidance is appreciated.
