I think painting the "caliber" is ricey regardless of the color.

You can paint the brake "CALIPERS". It's fine. The M3 ones are painted black at the factory.

I don't think they are trying to be mean, but that's the only way you can learn. At least that's how I've learned it.

haha dont worry man i didnt take anything personal...i appreciate the correction tho but i somewhat disagree that painting calipers makes my car look like a "ricer". A buddy of mine picked up his e92 335 brand new out of the shop with yellow calipers ( i dont like the color) but BMW does it them selves if im not mistaken) I will be gettin glossy black rims with a chrome lip and i figured the dull gray caliper just dosnt look right i think...whats everyone elses opinion?

Just make sure they aren't bright pink and It'll look fine. I don't think painted calipers look bad as long as you take care in doing it so the paint comes out smooth.

i never liked the fact that people painted their calipers to make it appear they have a bbk. IMHO you'd be better off buying either a bbk or not painting at all.

to me, painting your calipers is a rice mod for sure. Granted i'm guilty of some of them but that is one i refuse to buy into
