Is there going to be a big difference between running the SSTT's 3.5 PSI and setting the JB+ to 2.5 PSI? Like I said earlier, I want to err on the side of caution (even though I may increase the boost with the JB+ later on). One more quick question, and this one is probably stupid. Where are you guys buying the JB+ from?
-Evangelo2
dyno's for all 10 adjustable psi settings are scheduled AFAIK. There is a preliminary dyno thread for the jb+ with all 10 settings, but it was not a stock n54 set-up (had dp's also, some members are discrediting that dyno thread due to that). The current JB+'s out in the field are beta testers (including myself), the jb+ is not officially for sale yet. I am sure mike@n54tuning will post a FS thread when it is. Some beta testers have adjusted the boost level above +2.5 psi as well (again, including myself: I have pre 29.2). No limps or CEL's noted since the increased boost adjustment. A planned gt1 scan in the near future is to be scheduled...

I dont think you would feel much of a difference between 2.5 and 3.5. FYI, I am running mine at +5 psi in 80 degree weather with no issues

The fact that this is at least $200 less than an SSTT would explain everything you need to know between the two.

keep it at the default setting until further info is posted, just to be safe.. I believe the recc'd/default setting is +2.50-2.75 psi. Hopefully mike will confirm what the default setting is at and if the jb+ is at default setting when shipped out.

hey bro confused at what you ment at 5psi? i think the stock setting on sstt is 3.5 and with jb+ 2.5 so in actuality the jb+ default has lower power?

Just install it and drive. If you feel you need more power and are pre 29.2 or have access to get codes cleared before service, then take 3 minutes to uninstall it, turn it up more, and reinstall it. That is what is great about such an easy install and having adjustability too.

I had no issues (Cross fingers) with sstt being at 3.5 so i assume turning up the setting on the jb+ should be fine to at least 3.75 or something, we'll see maybe default will be enough, but i paid to get 4psi from it i want to run it that way

Mike, how much hp and tq can we expect at the default setting of 2.75psi? For those of us who have a 09 model (MSD81 version), will your tune be invisible to BMW during any service related visits.
