Hypothetically, I'd want a Pump map, a Race Gas +Meth map, and a pump +meth map.

I spoke to ASR. Its going to cost around $5,500 JUST for the turbos and downpipes!!! The ENTIRE KIT (including front mount and etc.) will cost around $11,000 !!!! NOT WORTH IT AT ALL!!! TOO MUCH MONEY!!!! If we can get 400 whp with stock turbos, why spend all that extra money to get 50 more whp? ATLEAST make the prices reasonable!

5500 for just turbos/downpipes sounds about right. I bet all the kits will be between 5000 - 8000 for the more basic setups

You're 17 years old, your opinion doesnt mean shit to anyone here....

No one is forcing you to buy their DP or IC... Just like no one is forced to drop $5000+- on the Supersprint exhaust.

Your probably talking about the whole sha-bang. That sounds about right on the money for upgraded turbos, exhaust, IC, plumbing, CAI, fueling solution, perhaps meth injection, tuning, upgraded clutch, light weight flywheel and not to mention installation. A relative bargain if you think about it, the HPF kit for the M3 can run upwards of 30K! Now how is that you know that their kit will only provide you with 50 extra wheel hp? They havent even tuned the car yet so how do you know what they are putting out? I dont even think Abid knows the final number yet. Im sure for 11K you will get alot more the 50whp.

well you figure(just based off current prices), intercooler = 1000-1200...Dp's = 800...turbos = 5500...exhaust = 1500...fuel system they said will be available = $$$...tune = 1000. so its reasonable, just hard to imagine dropping that kind of money at once. most dont realized how far in they are till after its done. seems to be a very nice kit...

dont forget that no only will it pump over 400hp, but it should hold that power far longer...currently on the high end people peak ~400 then drop down ~370-80 or so...maybe more as you go through the gears. i wouldn't be surprised if this kit does 450-500 peak then drops down to say 430-470 at redline...thats a lot more area under the curve. it should be wicked...11.0's@125+ here we come! (ok..i'm an optimistic type of guy)

I am interested in everyones opinion, take a Midol or something geez.

I would hope the 11k is including all installation and tuning... It will be interesting to see what the stock block can hold in terms of HP and boost...

Let's not assume what you're paying for.

Let ASR post an itemized cost.

In any case, the price sounds ball park to-be-expected, especially since it's for a BMW and it's *2* turbos that are both custom made (not off the shelf stuff).

Hopefully they give a lot of supporting mods with that price, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was just for the turbos and another item or two.

That sounds about right. That isn't bad compared to other packages. Get a clue people. You have to pay to play around here. A HPF turbo stage 1 kit costs 20k roughly without install. That is with one turbo.

It will be reasonable for what you get I think.

However, there are a lot of young kids on this board that can't ask Mom or Dad for 10k for a new turbo kit.

no ones asking our parents for turbo kits, don't think every kid who has an e90 on here had mommy and daddy give if to them (although a lot did, a lot also earned it) i've paid for everything on my car, And the car itself... i also know of several other kids on this board in my same situation.

damn...what the hell do you do at 16 to make enough to buy a car 40k+ on your own... if this is true, then props to you. i had $400 when i was 16 and bought my first car which was a 1.5L 92 honda civic with a header and intake(which i thought was wicked, boy was i deprived).

You could have a custom turbo kit, custom internals, full fuel system, Custom tune, and an upgraded clutch for that price...People sometimes are too lazy to go outside the box, so they get ripped off. who the hell would be stupid enough to pay $20k for a low hp gain turbo kit?
