My installer removed teh ski rack pieces and wrapped them individually. Came out excellent. No close ups as of now. My middle piece is one piece only, which is great considering im hearing tales of people having 2 pieces.

how do you remove the two strips? Don't you have to remove the headliner inside the car in order to do so?

I did it too, but mine is Matte black. I had a local graphics artist do it for me, I'll post pics later.

you could always try to find a set of the black ski track covers that come standard on the 328.

I believe he removed them but pulling on the strips towards the door.

I would assume you could also purchase it from places that make signs and lettering to put on cars (taxi) . I think its the same material.

the two strips just pop out. you just have to pull on them starting in the middle. a tab or may break though. i took mine off and laid the vinyl inside the gap and put the strips back on. i cover my shark fin with a cf overlay. weather sucks right now and i don't have any close up pics.

not at all in any way. im meticulous about my cars paint, and in no way is it damaged, just be sure the installer knows what theyre doing with razors near the roof

I have excess/extra vinyl I am selling. 48"x65", should just be enough to do your whole roof with one piece
