Odd, I have the 18" Bridgestone RFT and they tramline everywhere. Constant steering input on anything other than mirror flat roads. Especially noticeable on city driving (where ride comfort is definitely firm) or varying cambers, ridges and undulations on B roads. Get near a grooved bit of motorway (where the trucks have been) and it is like a toboggan ! Both hands needed on the wheel as it shimmys around.

At speed on open, flat Autobahns they are fine.

I'll be changing to Michelin PS2 RFTs soon. Hopefully the tramlining will lessen. If it doesn't I doubt I'll be buying a BMW again. Driving a lot of "lesser" cars when I was home just highlighted the tramlining.

Very telling that the M division has nothing to do with RFTs.

D.

Hasten to add, my tracking is spot-on.
