It does and as discussed before adds a huge 'fun factor' into the driving experience. Most of us have only experieced gear changes like this in Arcade style games - to have one fitted to your own car is a huge plus point IMO.

I have driven the M5 with the DCT and it was AWESOME!!

INSTANT gearchanges in sport mode and the downshift throttle blips were excellent

A gearbox like this really suits cars such as the M3

0.2 secs in all formats (E90, 92 or 93) - helps claw back that 0.5sec deficit the 'vert M3 has though!

M5 is SMG mate.

If its anyhing like that I will love it.

If its as smooth as they say i dont think i will like DCT.

You can alter the 'sportiness' of the DCT's changes

Thing is Carl, whilst that is fun every now and again, it would get tiring for everyday driving, so I am kinda hoping the DCT won't be like that!
