find a REAL ID of someone that looks like you. at least you can argue your way out of that if it comes down to it.

fakes that scan usually scan the correct age (for bars, clubs and etc) but if a cop scans it and starts pulling up records, he/she will see where the error is at. usually, people that create "scannable" IDs alter only the age.

if you get lucky, most places will let you leave with your fake or they'll just take it away. if you're unlucky, they'll call the cops on you and guess what, you end up in court. they can fine you and suspend your license for at least 6 months to a year or go as far as charging you with identity theft. keep in mind, anywhere you go that serves liquor depends on their liquor license to make money. zero tolerance on underage people trying to get in. they will prosecute you as an example to everyone else. business is business. i had one when i was under 21 as well and after knowing a few people that got caught and fined a few thousand dollars, i retired my ID.

out of state IDs are a red flag. most places will do everything in their power to prove to you that your out of state ID is a fake. be prepared to show "other" forms of ID to prove its you.

not worth it IMHO. don't play if you're not willing to get burned.

You will need to choose your words and "handle" yourself.

true haha.
i just think this county's stance on alcohol is a joke. We demonize the substance instead of educating people about it. Im pretty sure were the only country with a drinking age of 21 yet we have one of the worst problems. If we would stop making the consumption of alc such a "outcast" type activity, it would be accepted as a normality as it is in other cultures.

Soo true. There would be tens of thousands of Drinking and Driving deaths per year due to this. I would definitely vote for beer at age 18. Hard alcohol = no go though. Too many bad nights with the me, myself, and I bottle of jagermister and Rockstar.

+1

I got caught buying beer with my cousins ID who somewhat looks like me and a cop rolled up on me and busted me for it. I had to go to court twice and do 21 hours of community service. I turn 21 in 7 months though. Lesson learned.

Dude, seriously. This is the last fucking place in the world you want to use a fake id. They have a lot of controls over it. Find new friends or a girlfriend of something. Seriously. I am only telling you this for your own future good.

Another option is to get caught and have the police read his Miranda rights after the fact. And 3rd, ultimately the best choice is not to be exposed.

Also, the higher the quality of the false ID, the higher the consequences. Because someone caught with a false ID will be forced to identify the source. The defense attorney will try to plea bargain with the prosecutor in exchange for exposing the source. In other words, imagine yourself pointing at your source in a court of law. You're now in trouble with the law and in trouble with the street. If you don't think that worst case scenarios can happen just look at our economy now...

My first post had an underlying read-between-the-lines message. Have you seen the movie The Departed and its message of duplicty, deceit and snitching?

The only reason I'm back in this thread again is because Guardian Angel is part of the original 1ADDICTS forum, sports a pirate flag, and is most of all a good young man whom I do not wish to see come to any harm.
he did say he wanted the ID to primarily go out, not to drink. so i just assumed the obvious wasn't so obvious.

well, if it's so serious then why take the risk? he knows it's a 4th degree felony in his state and that's what the defense attorney will tell him. if he's lucky, he'll get a slap on the hand with a small fine and some community service. if not, he's screwed. so if he wants to take the risk then let him.

that's why i suggested using someone elses ID. the consequences can be smaller because there is no FAKE ID involved and no one creating fakes. he simply borrowed or found this real ID and is using that. no need to take anyone else down with him. case closed.

my body jerome can probably find you a good fake ID.

Espesially if you buy a gun or some crack from him.

I'm in the same boat, but I've seen friends get caught with fakes so I never bothered. I never have problems getting alcohol when I want it.
