What is funny is the Map 5 & 6 have not changed on the 1.3 beta chips yet. Terry has only enabled his new PID boost scheme into maps 3 & 4.

Thanks for stopping by though.

If im not mistaken Terry mentioned that he hasn't incorporated lag fix on his 1.3 beta maps yet. So its not a surprise you guys don't notice the low end torque. This is still just beta.

It doesn't make sense to me how one could not notice the difference in low end between the two competing tunes, given the low-end and lag-fix algorithms have yet to be incorporated into the JB beta versions out there.

You might not notice it so much when comparing one version of JB to a subsequent version.

If comparing old JB3 1.22 to newer 1.3 beta, the lagfix feature was strongest on 1.22 map 6. But on other maps, it was more subtle, so there wouldn't be as noticeable a difference without the algorithm.

Was this on 7G? I suspect the OP is running a different version than you're commenting on.
Mine is on the way from Mike, but I have no idea which beta version it is.
How do you know which chip you have? Is it written on it?

We're slowly cranking the low end up as we go. FWIW you have beta_7F which had a few bugs. Most are testing 7G now (which has more low end, more stable partial throttle boost, etc), and BMS is working on 8A. OP must be confused as there is no such thing as 1.33 so I'm not sure what version he is running to be honest. Probably 7G from his description!

The F revision does have more down low, around the 2k region. I'm not talking about the "lag fix" BS that people somehow equate with increased responsiveness, I'm talking about more once you put your foot off in it down low.

The lag-fix on 1.22 map#6 was not BS by any means.

It was definitely there and provided a lot more response....even Terry verified that map 6 had the strongest amount of lag-fix of all the maps.

I thought it was a wonderful improvement over 1.1

But I guess you are referring to WOT not partial throttle.

"My conclusion:
I am truly happy with the JB3 1.2 & would recommend this to anybody looking for an upgrade from stock. This is not to say that the Procede isn’t a great upgrade as well, because it is, I’ve driven the newest mapped Procede & it feels just as gratifying but for me, in terms of bang for your buck, I don’t see any other way to go! It’s like spending $20 for a Kobe beef burger when you can go to Fat Burger & pay $5 for basically the same thing..It all comes out the same in the end"
But in the last 4 months, a ton has changed with the Procede, so your comparison isn't really super relevant IMO.

I think lagfix is good for those who have post 29.2, for pre 29.2 guys like me, the difference is subtle.

& please don't get me wrong, again, i'm not hating on the PROcede AT ALL! i think it's a fucking fantastic tune, but i prefer the JB..

I don't mean to question your integrity but shouldn't you disclose that BMS gave you the JB3 for free? I'd prefer that too
