I had a feeling it may have a bad history because of the price and they are selling it at their Saab lot instead of their BMW lot. I was just browsing the other day because I am around there all the time and saw the price on the windshield.

For a 2007 BMW 335I Coupe with 25,000 miles, wholesale prices range from $30,600 (being in above average condition) to $28,000 (being in average condition) and $25,500 (being in below average condition). A dealership will usually aim to sell it for +12%-14% more than wholesale, so their estimated retail prices could range from $28,000 to $33,500. A private seller will usually aim to sell it for 5%-10%.


Given the car is CPO, and fully loaded the asking price of 36k isn't to off.
Which is why the offer of 32k is very low to even offer a counter. I guess I can offer them $34.5 out the door.

Similar car was offered by New Century BMW in LA here, $36k +Tax and TTL, dealer wouldn't even budge on price, said they listed for $40k and they already gave me a no BS price

$34K would be a great price before (TTL). I got my e90 335i loaded 17K miles (without Comfort Access and PDC) for $30K and $32,xxx after TTL.

Don't forget, you're getting a CPO...that's an additional 2 year (100K) warranty. Offer them 33K/34K and prepare to walk away if they turn you down.

You have to remember that even in this economy, dealers will not sell you a car at a lost to them (believe me, I've tried)

You're missing Nav (idrive), CA, Cold Weather. Was it 32K out the door or 32K (before TTL)?

Once you get use to the idrive, Nav, Cold weather...you won't want a car without it especially in NY.

I thought I got a killer deal with my e90 335i (fully loaded without PDC/CA, 17K) for $30K but I wouldn't mind getting an AW/Black coupe with every imaginable options for $34K ($4K more).

Call back and ask for the sales manager. The sales manager will do much more to earn your business sometimes reducing the commission of the Sales Advisor to get you the deal.
