High Voltage... showing your age there... That was a great album and a great rock era for AC/DC.

Back to the story about the MyCarr ICE. They're nice looking and have a good brightness and the 7k color is also good. It's just a shame that I've had to replace one of them 3 times now in less than a year. The LED's on the right side are actually getting burned out. This 3rd time, the light on that side was just really dull... no more than 50% of the brightness of the other side. When I removed them, I noticed that both LED's had a brown tinge to them. The last time, one of the 2 LED's had a brown spot. So the LED's seem to be burning out for some reason.

JLeviSW has some of the best customer service I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with (Nick, in particular is among the best in any online business) and I will never stop doing business with them just because of the problems I've had with this one product. I also recently purchased and installed their DAEOS (formerly known as Vista) which is a wiring harness that allows the angel eyes to run all the time (ignition on) like the day time running lights on the E92. It was fairly easy to install and works great.

The problem worth noting is that although there is an advertised lifetime warranty (now it's only 1 year) for the MyCarr ICE, it only includes either a free replacement of a defect unit or you can return the entire product for store credit. I wanted my money back, but that's absolutely not possible due to the strict company policy regarding their warranty. So my only solution is to return the entire product for a full replacement in original packaging and put it on the market for sale myself to try to recuperate most of the cost myself. I lost on that one and don't feel very satisfied with the advertised warranty in how I expected warranty to function.

By the way, I ordered and installed the LUX 5.0 from NA Motorsports. It doesn't use a separate resistor and is advertised to be safer and more reliable. I'll make that determination in the next few months, but the color and brightness is much better in my opinion. Plus, you use the original stock light cover that keeps everything in a neat package within the angel eye light assembly.
