lol funny.... just because I said that doesn't mean I dont think it could be a daily driver. I can definitely drive that car everyday but I just dont think it's a more comfortable ride than a 335/M3. The awesome power it has can really make up for that though

I would do my best to hold it in so I didn't get poo on a $103,000.00 car. Cheek squeezing works.

if you dont need the space, i say go for the z06.... between an M and the z06, i would choose the z06 as a sports car. why did i pick the M?? thats cos i need a daily driver that can seat 4 and a sports car at the same time so you can say i compromised. but z06 is an amazing car!

The ZR1 really is a deal if you ask me. This is for people (like me) who doesn't really care much for modding. If I ever could afford that car, I'd probably go for the automatic so I don't cut my life span in half. On second thought, some tests have the automatic being faster than the stick up until about 100 mph. Decisions .. Decisions...

The Z06 is probably the best sports car for the buck on the planet. If you're one of the lucky few in this economy that can afford one, then by all means. Of course, you could wait a bit longer and buy a used '09 CTS-V, which I consider a great compromise for motorheads that like to reproduce :P

If i had to get a car to drive everyday I would choose the M3. My M3 has been in service since Monday so ive been driving my Z06. Needless to say I miss my M3. On the weekend its a different story.... The Z06 does get great gas mileage
Your parents own the Corvettes and the M3. You just ask them for the keys. The car does not ride like complete shit, I guess thats the opinion of someone who's been pampered his entire life.

LMAO

that's some funny shit right there

that said, I think the z06 rides pretty rough/harsh, I have a bad back, so I'm pretty sensitive to it. It rode worse than my lowered m3 did that I owned at the same time my boss had his z06

Subjective, I think you are just a wimp. But then again I've slammed a few girls in my day, some can take it and say the ride wasn't rough and others think I'm too harsh on the pink taco.

having a bad back, and getting a check from the army every month for the rest of my life, and you think I'm a wimp for that?

I earned that disabled vet check, so you can just kiss my behind

You never mentioned the "bad back" thing in your initial post, only once you were called out on being a wuss box. You shouldn't be offering your opinion on ride quality if you are indeed disabled because your view is not the same of 90% of the population.

And don't you kiss my behind me, I've been in the Army for a minute and JUST because you get a vet check, doesn't always mean it was justified. I've seen plenty of dick bags get med boarded or vet checks over some bullshit.

none of your drivel changes the fact that the z06 rides pretty harsh, I know because I've got a bad back and I'm sensitive to that

if you have a good back, and you don't notice the difference between a harsh and soft ride, good for you

it does not change anything, nor does your opinion of disabled vets

besides, the z06 is a track car anyway, it's supposed to be a harsh ride, there's 335's and 135's for those of us that cant deal with a track car on the street every day. The z06 is a beast, I found it tough to drive because of it's large size and long hood, and quite a bit worse view of the road, for me anyway (5'10"). The motor is a monster and it really is a track beast, as much as I would love one, I don't think i could handle driving one every day for long, same thing happens every time I mod a car, I end up hating the ride and selling it.

Well, my dad owns a c6 z06 and i had the chance to drive it for a week (until the roof fell off) and it was a great car, i had no problem with the ride it didnt feel much rougher then my e36 m3 but maybe it doesnt aggrivate me (as an 18 year old) as much as some of you older folk.

It is incredibly fun to drive, and very refined for a car that you think of as american muscle. Its got a great stereo, nice (if somewhat flimsy) seats and all the creature comforts that you would expect from your 335 save the two extra seats. oh ya, and HUGE trunk.

I love the car! I say go for it, its not a bad DD.

I rented a C6 from Hertz just a few days ago and I think I should've bought a C6 instead of my 335i

The one I rented had the active exhaust or something and it sounded AWESOME when floored. It looked great and it was so much fun that I didnt realize that the steering wheel looks like a Chevy Cobalt's.. seriously I really didnt care

I get a check from the gubment for my knee being completely destroyed while in the service. Left knee, so I can't drive a stick anymore without it randomly and painfully locking up on me while shifting. But I don't let that spoil my rating of a car with an MT. I still rate it compared to the others, not based on how it makes my knee feel.

And +134298523409685435981754987 on knowing plenty of people who get disability through the VA by having scammed the system, the back injuries being the most common. I'm not saying anyone here is doing it, but I know for a fact that plenty do.
