I am wondering if its because its a big heavy lump (2.2 tons) and that no remap is gonna make much difference??

Our remap on the X5 will definately make a difference. With an extra +64Hp and 125NmT, even on a 2.2 ton motor, it will shift.

We have done a good few of these and the customers have always been impressed with the results.

Hi Pete,
The will be no price increase once we have those protocols. £185 for the unit and £499 (full retail) for the map.

Just a few questions. I have a 2007 320D (163bhp) and want to get an Evolve map on it. So basically I buy the box and download my original map and then send it to you by email and you then send an Evolve map for my car, which I then load back into the car's ECU?
So if this is correct then:
1. How to I get the original map from my car and onto the unit and then onto my computer so I can send it as an email attachment.
2. Do I need to have my car's original map recorded on a rolling road? Or is it just a case of reading my original ECU without the car moving anywhere or being driven?

If I misunderstood something please let me know. As I understand it right now this system would allow me (an amateur) to load an Evolve profile (professional) onto my car without having to visit a garage. Is this correct?
Thanks.
Hi

1. Configure the switch box using the software we supply on your PC.
2. Take the box to your car - plug in OBD2 cable to read original map file.
3. Connect switch box to PC and transfer original file to PC and then email to us.
4. We send you tuned map file which you load into the switch box. The box now holds both of the maps.
5. Plug switch box back into cars OBD2 port and load tuned map file into car.

The box has easy to follow on screen instructions.

We are in the process of making a video which we will put on our site to make it wasy for everyone.

That's right, once you place the order with us, we send out the switch to you and wait for you to send us the original file so we can modify it.

I've put your name down on our database for when the 177hp protocols are released. If you PM me your contact details, I can make sure you are informed asap.

Thanks for your reply Imran and also Sultan. Now it is really clear. It seems like a brilliant system. I'm in. It's great. I'm going to be placing an order. I like it that the original ECU profile is still there. And you say there will be no error codes. It's good. I'm pretty excited about this.

is the evolve switchable undetectable then?

even if you clear the fault codes will the ecu counter not give the game away?

book me INNNNNNNN
Yes you can transfer the Evolve Switch to the X5 sd. You would need to return the 335 back to standard then load up the protocols for the X5 sd before you read out the original file and send it to us.

In short.....the switch is reuseable......and not just on BMW's

It can also be used on a whole range of Alfa's, Audis, Chryslers, Fords, Jags, Land/Range Rovers, Mercedes, Mini's, Vauxhalls, VW's and loads more incuding Vans (vito's, transits etc).

Sultan, I have a 2007 163bhp 320D so I don't have to wait. I'm just wondering if there is a group buy list. If so then I'd like to be on it.
