Its actualy 4 inches from the ceiling. Looks decieving in the pics. I took many measurements before setting the M3 up there and another few measurments before putting the lotus up there.

nice car! congrats... but the roof of the exige is so close to the roof of your garage!! thats crazy! you must have measured how much clearance you had beforehand right ? otherwise you wouldnt know for sure if it would fit or not.

It looks closer than it is. There's about 4 inches above it. Yes, i measured even before i bought the car. I new it would fit as i had my M3 up there but i wanted to see if had enough clearance to put the lotus to the top locking position. And that is where it is now (top). Its nice cause now i have more room below to stand (being 6'3).
