that is not a dumb question. that is one question that can't be answered by someone.
I'll put it this way. If your dealership is nice enough, and service guys aren't so stupid(or picky), they wouldn't care. Otherwise, they'll try to blame everything on the intake. Hell, I think they might even blame you for the cup holder not working properly cause of the intake. IF they want to be that cheap.

On a serious side note, it is, by law, that if a car company wants to blame you for not doing their warranty work because of the intake, they must provide you with a valid proof that the intake cause the specific problem that you were trying to get serviced for.

Say your engine has an unusual oil leak and you want to get it serviced via warranty. You do have a right, and you should, get serviced and get if fixed via warranty if it wasn't your fault. If they pop the hood and sees the intake and decides to blame it all on you because of the intake, they have to prove that the intake caused the oil leak. Otherwise, they have to honor the warranty.

IMO, i wouldn't worry about it.

UPDATE:
Intakes should be ready to ship within 2 weeks. They are scheduled to land in the US on the 30th, then customs, then finding their way to me.

***

Also, guys, the screws circled below bother me. The intake is very high quality, EXCEPT these screws are not the best looking.

I am going to supply BETTER screws/bolts (prb something hex head in stainless) with all the kits, for free.

***

lux.sh, well said about the warranty.

They all have badges, have all been produced, and are all on their way here. The badge has 2 small rivets holding it on, you could drill them out if you really wanted but then you would have 2 small holes in the intake, and how you took care of that aestetically would be your choice (note the holes are BEFORE the filter, so it wouldnt affect performance and filtration if they were open)

Hey guys,
The intakes are being processed in customs right now, barring any unforeseen delays, I will have them next week!

I found some better looking hardware for the top of the intake, which will be "upgraded" free, ill have some pics of that on Tuesday or Wed when it arrives.

An email with payment instructions will be going out this weekend, I am in CT for the weekend and my intake list is on my comp in NY.

Rich, as we talked in PM before, can you tell me if you will be able to get this to me by late september? if that is not possible, I have to back off on this. let me know bro. Seems like there are delays, I don't want to back off at the very last minute.
