You cant put anything under the seats. 1) there is not enough room and 2) assuming you have the audiologic 7.0, there are already subs underneath both seats.

You need a custom enclosure in the trunk. No dumb ghetto sounding wood boxes. They will rattle and sound like crap. You need someone to make a fiberglass box. Its easier for the sub to move air around in a tight enclosure. The sub does not have to work as hard. Hits harder and cleaner. Stay away from wood boxes. Also with the install you will need a RCA output wire i think is what its called because the signal from the stock amp will have 'feedback' The RCA adapter or w/e its called stops that from happening.

You can utilize the underseat woofers as mid-bass if you like. The most effective way to get bass is to have an enclosure vent through the back seat armrest. The only drawback is not being able to fit long items in your trunk.

There isn't anything wrong with a well built wood box either.

Yes you can do a 'bazooka' tube but it still isnt clear enough for me as i was thinking of doing that until my great idea in the trunk. lol. I had a wood box in my mercedes. There isnt anything wrong with wood but i guess once you fiberglass and hear the bass from that you will never go back.... Either way you can still build a wood box into the side of the trunk as long as you have someone that knows what they are doing dimensions wise because you can blow the sub. The ncie thing about my enclosure is the bass is amazing and it looks like the sub is barely moving to create the sound.

I had BA before and liked them and then I had JL's and liked them as well. Nice install anyway!

Someone already switched the OEM subs for 8inch I think. Do a search and there are directions and all. Might be in the DIY.

What is the net internal volume on that enclosure? How thick did you lay the fiberglass?

Nice work!

The fiberglass is really thick about 3 layers thick so there is no cracks. As for the internal volume ill have to get back to you on that one as i dont remember off the top of my head....hopoefully i can find the papers to answer your question

I have the basic system but it does have subs under the seats, i have no problem really with the subs in the boot because i will probably use a bandpass box but in the spaces under the seats maybe i could fit the woofer from a 3 way split system like the alpine type x or some focal utopia i dont know if it is worth it. maybe i should just get some expensive top end 4" mid woofer and tweeter and with some powerful subs it will sound ok. :rocks:

Well its hard for me to agree with the fact that a boston sub is going to hit as strong as a JL, however your sub may be more accurate but i guess that all comes down to personal preference. But at the same time you have to consider the fact that you are only running a sub pushing 450RMS. That is also why you probably have no rattling issues. Because your running what a 12" sub and you have i huge trunk for that sub to air out in. But dont get me wrong your sub is good. But the main reason for me being harsh is because i just disagree with some of the facts your giving. But you may very well be right, i mean when it comes down to custom audio its all dependent on design and quality but i just wanted to state my opinion from my testing and experience. I mean ive had fiberglass in other cars of mine and as of now im running ProWedge box's and im really loveing them. But to answer the main question i like ur custom set-up looks good and great way to conserve space.

The audiologic 7 is a kick ass sound system. You just have to be a nutcase like to me to do what i did. lol Id say go for it if you know what your doing. Otherwise dont attempt it because you can really do some damage with that fiber optic wiring.
