I graduated from USC in 2005 with a degree in Political Science. Good luck guys, hope you all get in! it is a great school, and its the most fun you'll ever have. There were gorgeous girls everywhere, and the teachers are all first rate.

To any recent graduates congrats! welcome to the real world...

lol.. rameal, film is tough to get into at USC. I visited USC last week to check out the campus.. and I like it! The new film building is insanely nice too. For those who are wondering, I'm an econ major, got into every school I applied to, transferring from OCC with a 4.0, 72 units, honors program and 4 out of the 5 honor societies

. I'll probably end up going to UCLA though, I think it's the best school for econ.

ok my 5 minutes of fame are over LOL

Hey people... I'm moving to LA to attend USC in August. I'm looking for housing, 1-bedroom 1-bath, a private place with no roommates or anything... and walking distance from campus.. plus gated/covered parking to keep my baby safe from haterz. Anyone know of anything available, or anyone moving out by summer? I live in Portland, Oregon so I can't really check out what's available except whatever I find online. I might fly down next week or the week after to see some places and pay a deposit. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I would recommend dorming the first year so you get an idea of the neighborhood and familiarize yourself with the area. If not, then I would recommend apartments on Ellendale and Menlo.

There are also apartments on West 27th/University that are nice. Also Shrine Pl. You should consider commuting, and getting an apartment at the Metropolitan, and/or Medici. Those are very nice places in comparison to near campus.
