I use poorboy's leatherstuff on my own leather. It cleans and conditions, depending on how you apply it and how long you leave it for. leatherstuff restores the leather to a matte finish, and it feels extremely soft.
And smells awesome.

I like Leatherstuff for maintenance, but the Leatherique twins win when it comes to cleaning up a really messy interior with lots of grime and dye transfer.

Leatherqiue is my number 1 go to, then these also work great for your leather to maintain, Zaino, Blackfire , Leathermasters.

There are not many good leather products... for a car with leather in a good condition, you can use Zaino cleaner (using a soft leather brush) and then the conditioner.
The best thing to do is leave the conditioner (while it gets absorbed) for 12 hours (or more) without using the car (maybe you can cover the seats with plastic). You can repeat this last step one again.

For areas of high use (drivers seat, steering wheel), you can touch up every 2 weeks or so.

Your leather will look and feel like new for many years.

Half bottle? Too much!

One bottle should be good for 10 interiors... at least.

PB leatherstuff here. Apply with a microfiber pad (1.67 for 2 at walmart) leave the car in the sun for a few minutes before to get the leather warm, buff it in and then wait about 10 to 15 minutes and I buff off with a micorfiber towel. Love the results. 303 on all the plastic and meguiars interior detail wipes on the wood and buff off with microfiber. It all works for me.

Lexol is a great OTC product, but my favourite locally available one is the BMW leather kit from the dealership. Smells odd for a few hours but then it restores the "just bought" BMW leather smell. The BMW kit only comes with the conditioner though so get some Lexol cleaner too.

OTC Lexol can do the job, but the BMW leather cream should do the job.

I would recommend mail order for Zaino among others. Connolly is supposed to be great, but I have never tried it.

Leatherique is great in older leather. I don't think you should use for maintenance.

Seriously check out PB LeatherStuff from DI a vendor here. It's a great conditioner/cleaner (more of a conditioner), has UV protection, smells great, nice matte finish and does not cost a lot. If you want OTC then Lexol would be my choice, used it in the past works good but smells like a chemical to me.

Well, the Detailed image tutorial recommends using 303 after Leatherique...I have some Leatherique en route and I plan on using it once the weather warms, what is a good product to follow up with if 303 is unacceptable?

From DI:

Quote:
After the Leatherique process, we recommend UV protecting your leather with 303 Aerospace Protectant. Maintain your restored leather with one of the one step leather care products until you wish to perform the entire process again.

That's where the PB LeatherStuff comes in, it has UV protection,is a conditioner with some cleaning properties and smells really like leather. I've used the Leatherique twins once on old leather and used PB since to maintain. I do use 303 on the steering wheel though as that is alsways in the sun etc with no adverse affects.

Right, I do the same thing. I just use it very sparingly so as to not make the wheel slippery

I just want to add that the BMW leather product also contains a frost inhibitor for those of us who park our cars outside year round.

Hey guys, I just had a 2010 328xi loaner for a few days and noticed how much softer the leather was in that car compared to mine! So what's the consensus? Is Leatherique the best product out there? My seats don't look worn, they're just getting hard or dried out i guess. Also, for Leatherique, would the 16oz kit be enough?

I'm going to go ahead and say yes. I have the 16oz kit here and will post a pic with a size reference if you want. I'd say that I usually use about 1.5-2 ounces of Lexol per treatment, and Leatherique oil should go on a little thicker. Take this with a grain of salt since I'm new to this.

Yeah, go for the full Leatherique treatment. If you're just doing your car, you don't need a ton of the stuff. The 16oz kit will be more than sufficient.

Don't know if this would apply to auto interiors, but I just purchased a leather sofa and the furniture store recommended mink oil to keep the leather in top condition. Supposedly you can get it at a shoe repair shop. I haven't bought any yetr but maybe someone else out there has used it....
