Wait to you get to sink the revs into the red in M dynamic mode - its fantastic and I hope it wont get me into too much trouble.

Really loving the M mode on the traction control - just the right amount of give.

I got mine used with 5K on the clock (graphite with bamboo leather) - therefore no run in peroiod

Have fun!!!

Would love to see some pics

http://www.tintcentres.co.uk/

they are in wolverhampton i had the whole car done for £150 they were very good i think its normally £130 +£20 for the front windows and i had to sign a disclaimer about the front windows.

When i was there they told me the BMW garage in wolverhampton and the Land Rover garage send there cars to them to have the windows tinted.

I had what they normally do to BMW's but i cant remember the % but it isn't the darkest, i have never been pulled by the police about the front windows either.

Also you have a lifetime guarantee as long as you own the car which isn't bad!

they should do thought it would probably only take 20-30mins for just the 2 front windows.

You can book online but not for just the 2 front windows if you give them a ring it should be fine

It's stopping as it is now, just wanna tint the front windows slightly to blend in with the sun prot glass on the rears - nothing major and keeping legal

Good Man..

Is there a level of tint you could have that won't classify it illegal ?

Yes there is, will have to check but I think it's about 20/25% on the fronts?

We had our Grande Punto done at work as our engineer often has to carry kit in it overnight with the seats folded down so have almost limo tint on the tailgate and rear windows, with legal tint on the fronts - had it done 3 yrs now with no hassle at all.

The police can and do carry, 'light transmission' test kit, and a roadside check can enforce film removal or a fine/vehicle impound!

It can also negate your insurance if you are involved in an accident and they believe your visibility was impaired etc. My tints are called "smoke" and i had Pentagon do them - they are the best company imo - mine are just outside the legal limit but ive not had any issues thus far and they blend in pretty well with the factory rears without being too pimp my ride.

I dont remember what % tint they said it was - its called smoke, which i know is not of much help - but if you contact Pentagon they would tell you what % smoke is - it may very well be within the legal remit, it certainly doesnt appear too dark, but equally i seem to remember them telling me it wasnt "strictly" legal!!!
In terms of the E90 shape - i personally LOVE the new facelift LED rear tail lights and i would love them on my car and overall i think the rear of the facelift E90 M3 is much more attractive than the E92. BUT, i still wouldnt have the E90 over an E92 because in my opinion the side view of the 4 doors just ruins the look of the M3 for me. But i do appreciate that for a family it is the best of both worlds AND you've got it in the best colour combo!!!! Great car and i look forward to seeing it in the flesh sometime soon and hopefully before i get itchy palms again and decide to sell and buy something else!!!!
